Eating Disorders

Anorexia, Bulimia, Compulsive Overeating are treated like any other addiction.  We follow the 12 step model using Overeaters Anonymous as a support system for your recovery.  It is recommended that an in-patient program has been completed with-in the last twelve months.  The most important pre-requisite is the willingness to eat and follow a food plan of healthy eating.  Exercise is moderate - usually walking to meetings within the community.  Medical support and evaluations with a dietician are required.  We have found that many women have multiple addictions.  If you have acknowledged that food is your drug of choice and you have an alcohol or drug problem, please get in touch with us at 724-228-2203.
